Cloud Observations

Students have been studying weather, with clouds as our focus.  Students have observed clouds with snow and cold before Spring Break, as well as with our recent sunny blue skies.  Each student has taken on a role similar to a meteorologist while creating notes in their Cloud Log.  They write the date, a sketch of what they see, and a written description of the current clouds.

In addition to our Cloud Logs, students are each creating a Weather Chart this week.  Every morning students add another weekday to their chart, listing the high temperature of that day, as well as a quick illustration demonstrating the type of weather.

We love studying our planet in different ways.  Don’t forget about Disneynature: earth, Friday after school in the auditorium.
