Today a special traveling teacher from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science visited our school. Â Daniella taught all of the 4th grade students about rockets. Â We were fortunate to have this opportunity thanks to a special learning grant that allowed the DMNS to provide the opportunity to our students for FREE.
It was quite the learning process as students explored the shape and basic physics of a rocket. Â Students even made rockets and went outside to try to launch their rocket. Â Ask your child about what they experienced. Â Did their rocket go anywhere? Â Did it have a technical problem and explode? Â It seems like every student had a slightly different experience today. Â Overall, it is a great addition to our Solar System learning.
