With Halloween just around the corner and many events, it seemed best to share everything altogether.

9:00-11:00 am – 4th grade – Halloween Activity Rotation (games, crafts, books, etc.)
2:00 pm – Halloween Parade – NEW LOCATION:Â elementary gym
2:30 – Classroom Parties – Mrs. Boone’s class is joining us to watch HUGO the movie. Â Students will enjoy food and beverages during this time.
After school until 4:00 – Grace Pointe Senior Care – candy, piñata and more fun!

We’ve been busy reading The Invention of Hugo Cabret and plan to finish the book by Halloween. Â Mrs. Boone’s 4th grade class will have also read the book. Â Unfortunately, we will be unable to watch the entire movie on Halloween. Â We will plan to finish the movie the following week, as well as enjoy compare and contrast activities (book Vs. movie).
CAN YOU SEND SOMETHING FOR THE PARTY?
After the Halloween Parade our students will be ready for some snacks and treats. Â Since we will have so many candy items during this festive holiday, we will try to keep our snacks mostly healthy.
Things students would enjoy:
Juice boxes or Capri Suns (for 23 students)Cheese and CrackersVeggies and Dip (Ranch Dressing is popular)Cut up fruitBrownies (small sizes, enough for 46 students – we will share with Mrs. Boone’s students)Plates (23 +)Napkins (23 +)
If you are able to send something, please email me the item you wish to provide. Â As I receive notification, I will update the class website and cross out items that will be provided.
If you are unable to send something for this celebration, we will have other holidays in the future. Â (Thanks!)
